Equine Dentistry
We have recently upgraded our power floating equipment, which utilizes the concept of "gentle equine dentistry."
This floating equipment allows Dr. Geurts to fully visualize the horses mouth and shape the teeth to remove points and irregularities in the mouth of the horse. Teeth are shaped for a proper "bit seat" to allow maximum comfort for the horse when the bit is in place Performed annually to keep the horses mouth in proper condition, this procedure requires a tranquilizer for proper restraint of the horse.

This revolutionary equipment integrates the use of a cordless power drill with a special dental attachment adapted specifically for floating horses teeth. This technology is far superior than the old hand float method of the past.
